- 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Flour (Plain)
INGREDIENTS (UK):
- 75Ml Oil (Preferably Flavour-less such as Vegetable)
- 200g Sugar (Granulated)
- 5Ml Vanilla (Optional)
- 2 Eggs (Large/Medium)
- 1/4 Tsp Baking powder
- 40g Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 65g Flour (Plain)
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°F, 180°C
METHOD:
- In a large bowl, Mix your Oil and Sugar. It should be well combined but maybe clumpy which is fine.
- Now add in your 2 eggs as well as your vanilla and stir until slight foamy and Yellow.
- In a Separate Bowl, Sieve all of your dry ingredients, Which is your Baking powder,Cocoa powder, Salt and flour.
- Stir to combine all dry ingredients.
- If you really want to be sure like me, Sieve your dry ingredients again, but this time sieve it into your Oil mix. (You absolutely do not need to sieve it again this is only if you want!) if you don't want to sieve again, then just pour the Dry mix into the wet mix.
- Stir really well but do not overwork batter. Fold your batter until all dry ingredients have combined then stop.
TIP: You could add extra chocolate chips or a bar chopped, but it is perfect without so it is not necessary but you can add it if you really like.
Place into preheated oven for 20-25 Mins. To know when ready, Stick a Toothpick, Skewer or a Butter Knife in the centre if it comes out clean its ready! Let it cool before serving.
